This last week started with a visit from this little guy.
By little, I mean he was about the size of my thumb nail. Even being that tiny he still enjoyed a quick dip in the pool.
Stupid toads need to stop thinking that our pool is open for public swimming.

Saturday evening we had a family party to go to. I decided to make a batch of Snickerdoodle Cupcakes.
I saw the recipe at Skip to my Lou. I had to do a little tweaking to make it Gluten-free.
They were incredibly delicious.

The family party wasn’t all fun and games.
Ham was playing catch with the bigger boys. Some random kid decided that it was a tackle football game and went after the smallest kid and tackled Ham. And it wasn’t even a clean tackle. I was a bit upset, but not nearly as upset as the Man-Child and Einstein.
So I ended up at Urgent Care with Ham.
At least Ham liked getting to ride in the wheelchair.
~~~~~
On Monday he still wasn’t able to put any weight on the leg and his ankle was swollen so off we went to the doctor.
He thought we were just dealing with a sprained knee and ankle, but sent us home with orders for x-rays to rule out any broken bones.
~~~~~
I left Ham’s appointment in time to pick up the Man-Child and take him to his final wrist appointment.
The doctor said he was completely healed and as strong as ever.
~~~~~
On Tuesday Ham and I headed to the lab for x-rays.
He looked so little on that table.
The good news is that the results came back and everything looks great.
Just six to eight weeks recovering from the sprains.
Big Daddy decided that I may have need a stress reliever that can only come in a QuikTrip 32oz cup. Bless his heart
Thursday was the first Award Assembly of the year.
Roo got three awards for the 1st quarter: Principal’s Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, and Student of the Month for her class.
She hasn’t had any problems adjusting to the middle school.
~~~~~
This morning Ham and LaLa had their Award Assembly.
It was Ham’s first Award Assembly and he was excited to get his first Citizenship Award.
LaLa got Perfect Attendance and a Music Award.
~~~~~
This afternoon I picked up Ham, LaLa, Roo and Einstein.
And we are excited for our 2 week fall break.
I’m sure the Man-Child is excited too, but since we never see him I don’t know for sure. I do know that he is going to be spending most of it at marching band practice, marching band festivals and playing at the football games.
