where have you been my whole life?

Last week I found some cute pants for the girlies for super cheap at Costco.

Roo was so excited to wear her pair that she put them in the washer and dryer…which normally wouldn’t be a bad thing…except she missed that annoying not so little size tag stuck on the leg. Not only through the washer, but also the dryer.

I tried picking the sticker off and that wasn’t going to work…unless she wanted to wear the pants in about an hundred years.

Thankfully I have a few friends that are much smarter than me and told me to try Goo Gone.

Why have I never tried this miracle worker before?!?

It completely removed the sticker and left the pants as good as new. I did have to wash them a few times to get the smell of the GooGone out of the pants.

I feel like I am the last person on earth to find out about this life changing product.

It worked perfectly for me, but I would hate for something to go wrong when you use it and them blame me. But it is pretty darn awesome.)

Now I am going to attack all the stickers the girlies put on the bedroom furniture. Woo Hoo!

 

My Favorite Things

I recently discovered Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-on Shadow Pencil. I freakin’ love these things.

The color I use the most is JuJu. How can you miss with that name?

On the days when I am trying to get my make-up done in 5 minutes these are my go-to eye shadows.

Starting with a bare eyelid.

A few quick swipes of the pencil and a little buffing and you’re done.

Add a little eyeliner and voila…

Quick and easy.

This isn’t the only way I use these when I have time to really “do” my face they are great. Using a pencil gives you a little extra control. And they really last and don’t crease.

I found mine at Ulta and I know Sephora carries them also.

My Favorite Things

I feel like maybe I have been a little absent from my blog. Considering it is my blog I should be included more…

So I thought I would occasionally share some of my favorite things.

I am a little bit of a snob when it comes to my cosmetics. Usually the only thing I buy at the drug store is mascara.

Not anymore.

A few weeks ago I was at my favorite store…Target. I was looking for a beauty blender like this:

I heard that Sonia Kashuk had a version for half the price.

I didn’t find a beauty blender, but these little beauties caught my eye.

I really like lip stains, but I hate how they make my lips look and feel dry. These work the lip stain magic with a really nice feel.

They have an amazing texture and they really last.

I think they are pretty fantastic.

A Love Affair

There are a few things that I really love. And by things, I really mean things.

So yesterday when I was in Staples buying modeling clay for a school project that a dear, sweet child has known about for weeks but neglected to tell me he needed supplies for…
