Yesterday we were lucky enough to host Aunt Sherri’s annual Valentine’s Day Party.
I don’t know if it is really “annual” but she has done this party 2 years in a row, so as far as I am concerned it’s an annual tradition. She puts so much thought and effort into this day, and the kidlets love it. She started the party with a picture of love of the cousins…and Aunt Jules.
She has all the little touches taken care of.
The afternoon started outside with some balloon fun.
The kids were supposed to run while keeping their balloon up in the air.
I tried to get a picture of the girlies together but only Roo and Miss T were cooperating.
Baby Boo was busy running after the balloons. How stinkin’ cute is she?!?
After a lunch of heart-shaped pizza the kiddos played a few rounds of Hot Potatoes Hearts.
One of the rounds ended with Ham and Miss T and neither one of them wanted to touch the heart.
Then Aunt Sherri had the kiddos make Valentine cards for some special people in Utah.
After that there was more outside fun with a Limbo Love.
The kids need a lot a little limbo practice.
After the limbo they had a Heart Relay.
LaLa has serious balancing skills.
Unlike Ham.
I love how much fun Miss T is having.
Einstein was cheering Miss T across the finish line.
The relay ended with a group hug for Aunt Sherri.
The kiddos came back inside for a memory game that Aunt Sherri made using pictures of the cousins…so cute.
That was followed by the Cake Candy Walk of Love.
Then there was a quick game of Stump the Cupid. She had a tray filled with things they all love and the kids had to memorize what was on the tray and then write everything down after the tray was taken away.
The party ended with decorating cookies. Some for them and some to be given away to people they love.
LaLa shared some of her cookies with me, but after watching her decorate I thanked her dearly and sat them aside.
This is one of the cookies Ham made for Big Daddy.
A big, huge THANK YOU to Aunt Sherri for all the work you put into this day. I hope you realize how much the kids really enjoy this day. Last year was nice, but to be honest it was kind of fun hanging out here and joining in the fun!
