Here is the plan for this week:
- Monday – Burgers on the grill
- Tuesday – Apple Pancakes
- Wednesday – Big Daddy’s Special Quesadillas
- Thursday – Pizza
- Friday – ummm….
- Saturday – Orange Chicken
- Sunday – Roast and Yorkshire Pudding…I know SHOCKING!!
I forgot that it was National Pancake Day on Tuesday. I had to come back and modify my menu for this week.
And now for a little Miscellany…
1. So last week I felt like my life tumbled a little out of control. Apparently my house felt it also. I noticed that EVERY picture on my collage wall was crooked.
That is something I can definitely fix.
2. My kiddos have decided that if there isn’t school on Monday then Sunday night is family room sleep-over time. So hello President’s Day…
And since they don’t expect Mom and Dad to join the fun it works for me.
This morning I was greeted by quite the fancy furniture fort.
3. I used to deal with stress by not eating…I am over that. I have gained 6 lbs in the last week. Grrr………..
4. I don’t work with the Cub Scouts anymore. I totally have mixed emotions. Now I am going to rock the hot librarian look on Sundays. Is that appropriate?!?
I love the fort!
ReplyDeleteand the weekly menu looks really yummy as always.
Love you
Looks like you are coping well.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the kids rolling out all over the floor for a family room sleep over. The fort building looks like loads of fun, that's great.
Oh ya, the weight gain is probably just water weight, take a water pill. {Even if it isn't water bloating, the dropping of a couple of pounds does wonders for the psyche}
ReplyDeleteDo I have to cook again this week?
ReplyDeleteOh forts. So much fun when you're a kid. So much not when you're the adult.
Damn that stress and weight. I hate it. Want me to sympathy eat with you?
Sounds like you've got some yummy dinners lined up. Mexican is my favorite comfort food!
ReplyDeleteI hope Big Daddy gets some hot prospects this week and your visit to the land of stress will be short.
I love family room sleep-over time! So fun!
ReplyDeleteWow that is quite the party you had! haha. You're a good Mama. I have never made "ummm" before. Let me know how that turns out. ;) I think it is okay to say "hot" librarian....but that is only because I am one too! Haha.
ReplyDeleteI have something for you on my blog.
ooh ive always wanted to work in the library. your kids are so cute..
