Friday, February 6th is National Wear Red Day.
This is very near and dear to me. My Mom passed away in 1994 at age 52 from congestive heart failure. My Sister had her first heart attack at age 42. My Aunt will be celebrating her 7th anniversary of her heart transplant tomorrow. My maternal Grandma left 5 children without their mother when she passed away at age 38.
I don't plan on following in their footsteps.

Wow, that is not a tradition you want to carry on. So sorry you lost your mom so early. I guess I better buy something red to wear today. And start taking better care of me.
ReplyDeleteGreat Cause! I sent Nathan to school today in RED and I plan to dress us girls in red once we get out of our pajamas.
