For Family Home Evening last night we decorated bunnies for Easter.
We did them like the Cow Parade that was started in either Chicago or New York about 1999 or 2000.
It was fun seeing the different choices the kids made in how they wanted to decorate theirs. I opened up my craft supplies, to a certain extent - no glitter this time, and let everyone choose what they wanted. Well Ham didn't really get a choice. He got to use crayons. It was a break-through coloring episode with him. He really colored and didn't just try to eat the crayons. That is huge. He also would follow my lead. If I colored on my paper he would use the crayon to color on his.
These awesome bunnies are now on their way to Argentina to my niece. I don't think they are going to be able to hop fast enough to get there before Easter, but I hope they brighten her autumn? That is strange to think about celebrating Easter in the fall!
**Here is the list of who did what: Big Daddy did the polka dots, I did the floral, Big J did the stripes, Einstein did the foamies, Roo used the doggy stickers, LaLa picked the sea life stickers and Ham used crayons**
