Our Favorite Gherkin is Here

This morning we woke up and found a familiar holiday visitor had appeared.

The sad thing is he was all alone on the tree.

I guess he was tired of the decorations just sitting in the box next to the tree and decided he better show up and get the holiday season started.

So this afternoon the decorating started with Ham hanging the first ornament.

And now poor little Pickles won’t be alone.

I have to confess I almost didn’t post this picture. Look how sad our poor tree looks. The lower level of lights can’t decided if they want to work or not. And the top has a permanent bend to it. It has served us well, but I think I might be looking for a new tree at the after-Christmas sales.

  1. Glad you posted it. You haven't seen sad and pathetic until you've seen our sorry Charlie Brown tree.

  2. The top part of our tree keeps shorting out. And we don't have any ornaments on yet. It's pretty sad looking too.
