I am not sure my self-esteem is going to survive this whole motherhood thing.
This morning LaLa and I were sitting in bed snuggling and she sweetly said, “Mom your armpits are furry…and you stink.”
Love you too Sweetie!

Darlene: don't you know by now that kids speak the truth!!! how funny is that...

I feel ya. The other day Jonas pointed out (sweetly, of course) that my "mommies" (take a guess) were "hanging".
ReplyDeletegot to love the sweet honesty of our little ones eh?
ReplyDeleteI was asked a good six months after my boys were born, by one of my kids schoolmates', if I was pregnant again.
Ian has said that to me before! Got to love how honest children are.
ReplyDeletelol- when I work out my kids are quick to remind me that I get no hugs when I smell and look sweaty. I love those guys.
ReplyDeletegotta love 'um!
ReplyDeleteThey definitely say what they think. I can't remember which one of my boys it was that once pointed to my stomach and said, "Are you sure you don't have a baby in there?"
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! Umm- I think you should shave those legs & arm pits Girlfriend....
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many times Allie would aay Eww Mom you have bad breath first thing in the morning when she would climb into bed with me...
Kids are nothing if not honest! Helps with the humility, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteDon't you enjoy some of the things that come a little child's mouth.
ReplyDeleteWe were so proud when they said their first words Lol
Thanks for sharing
That is great! So funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know, she probably thought she was just doing you a favor by letting you know. Like a friendly little FYI. Can't blame a kid for having your back, right? :)
ReplyDeletewell SOMEBODY's gotta tell ya! my daughter loves to count my gray hairs.. eh!
