From Lelly - "our routines can seem out-of-whack in the summer and it's more important than ever that we funnel our energy into the hearts of our families. not so easy to do when there are more snacks to prepare, more laundry to do, more trips to the store/movies/museums/gas station... we must strike a balance between pool time, library time, travel time and quiet time!! to help channel our personal chi, let's take time this month to focus on the 5 elements of summer: sun, water, shade, grass and ice cream!!
these can be as easy or as challenging as you want them to be...just get out there and take some pictures!!"

july 1 - sun
-
july 8 - water
-
july 15 - shade

july 22 - grass

july 29 - ice cream
Living in Arizona we definitely do not have a shortage of sun. This time of the year is hot. The sun is unforgiving and harsh.
That is why if I am outside you will see these lovelies perched on my face. I love these sunglasses. I got them at Target on sale for $10. I think they are actually men's, but I don't care. I have a hard time finding sunglasses that my eyelashes don't touch the lenses - these are perfect. Also the frame is flexible enough to be thrown in my bag and I don't worry about them breaking.
I wish I could say I needed glasses for that reason. I would love to have long beautiful eyelashes!!!!
ReplyDeleteCute picture..
I buy all of my sunglasses at Target. I am jealous that your eyelashes are so long.
ReplyDeleteI am starting to get a little homesick with all the bloggers here from Arizona.
ReplyDeleteLove your new shades.
I like inexpensive, flexible sunglasses too! I WISH I had the good excuse of buying men's sunglasses like you . . . long eyelashes. I dream of long eyelashes. :)
ReplyDeleteI gotta go with everyone else here, I wish I had long eyelashes too! Maybe you should do a post on your favorite mascarra!
