Yesterday we went shopping for school. Since school starts in the middle of summer there is no need to buy alot. We went to the Pumpkin Patch and each of the kidlets (even those not starting school - we can't leave them out) picked out a new shirt. They were having a wonderful summer sale and we purchased 6 shirts (okay Ham got an extra) and paid $64.60. Not bad. I don't think I would ever pay full price there, but the sales are great.
Then we headed to the shoe store.
Nothing beats a new pair of shoes.
The kids have all asked if they can wear their shoes now. But they have to wait for the first day of school.
Do you know how hard it is to tell them no. Who wouldn't want to wear new shoes now?!?
**So have you done your school shopping?**
**Don't you love new shoes?**
Oohh! Now I wanna go to the Pumpkin Patch. That store has the cutest things..
ReplyDeleteI bought Tyler a pair of shoes & 2 outfits. That's my extent of clothes shopping so far. I hid the shoes from him so he wouldn't wear them!
Still have to do Josh..
It is kind of sad here not buying school things...until I saw a lady in front of me at Wally-World spending $100.00 on school supplies.
ReplyDeleteBUT, I did go to Target and found YELLOW PoKa-Dot Converse shoes...FOR ME...Oh yea baby!!!
Love ya
I love shopping for school. I also like to buy supplies for our godchildren. I love Back To School, although schools over here start around the middle of September, which gives us some extra time to laze around.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed leafing through your blog. Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
