Nobody writes a epic family story like Adriana Trigiani. I'm not sure if she wanted to make sure that we all remembered that Valentine was in the fashion industry or she just fell in love with color while writing this book. She is VERY descriptive about every little detail of this story...Every. little. detail. The book would have been just a lovely without beating us with the little details.
