It made me a little sad that all the Man-Child wanted for his birthday was clothes…and some silly double bass pedal for his drum set.
Clothes meant he was growing up and wasn’t a little boy anymore and didn’t need any toys.
I was relieved as he started opening his gifts
and then started adding each
new item of clothing
on top of what he was already wearing.
He may be growing up, but he is still a silly boy.
Just a big, silly boy.

ReplyDeletehehehheeee! Got to love him...I told him I remember being 15...there was silence and then he said, "I do not know what to say to that". He is growing up, glad to see he is still enjoying life.
