I was finally able to get my pictures moved over from my laptop to our desktop. Whoop Whoop!
Last Sunday evening Papa Willie and Grandma B came over to celebrate the Birthday Girlies.
Here they are patiently waiting to open their gifts.
One of the gifts Grandma B gave LaLa was this tiara. It’s not the first tiara she has had, but for some reason it has become the most important…trust me.
LaLa blowing out the candles on her cupcake.
On Monday, which was LaLa’s actual birthday we had planned a birthday extravaganza which included cars, trains and candy!
We loaded up the ol’ subooboo and headed to the light-rail station.
Everything is more fun when you involve a train…
Or maybe not?!?
Where were we headed?
How about here…
More specifically here…
To get here…
After a little jay-walking across Camelback and down a block toward Central.
Around the back of the building…
And finally we were there…SMEEKS!
It is such a cute,
fun shop full of…
Well, candy,
candy
and more candy.
In every size and shape imaginable.
And a ton of other fun stuff.
As soon as we got there Ham found this bucket of cars and spent the whole time playing there.
Well if you call this playing.
We finally left with our treats.
And headed back to the empty station to wait for our train.
Here the kiddos are just hanging out.
and waiting.
They were excited when they saw this train…unfortunately it was headed the wrong way.
We finally got back to our station.
Finally after getting home LaLa opened the rest of her gifts.
I think she had a good birthday.
What a fun place! I want to go there for my b.day!
ReplyDeleteI have never been there. No big surprise. I don't venture anywhere west of Country Club unless it's the airport, but I've seen a few people talk about that place, so now I think it's a must! Looks like a fun b-day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, a little light rail trip and a candy store. Looks like everyone had fun.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous, I want to go there for my birthday...heaven in one little store. YUmmY!
ReplyDeleteMy son plays with cars the same way Ham does! Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness that looks like it was so much fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Birthday LaLa.
