It Is What It Is

I feel like my blog has been a little neglected lately. My life is a monotonous, not overly busy, just monotonous.

Here is a little rundown of my usual week.

Monday mornings I take the big kids to school because Big J has band in the afternoon and his drum kit is a little heavy for him to carry all the way to school. Then as soon as I get home I have about 1/2 hour to get Lala ready to drop off at school. Drop her off and then come home and repair the house from the weekend. Then I pick Lala up from school and come home and feed the babies lunch and then put Ham down for a nap. Then just hang out until Einstein and Roo get home from school. Then about 1 1/2 hours later we load up and pick Big J up from band and then time to get dinner ready and maybe have FHE, and maybe not.

Tuesday is my free day. No school for Lala and no therapy for Ham. The older kids walk to and from school. So if I am lucky I don't have to go anywhere until the evening and Roo has cheer.

Wednesday the kids walk to school and I take Lala to school and come home and get things ready for Ham's therapy. Wednesday is general therapy where we work on everything - speech, physical and occupational. As soon as the therapist leaves Ham and I go and pick Lala up from school. Every other Wednesday Big J has running club at the school and on those Wednesdays I pick Einstein and Roo up and then an hour later go back and pick up Big J. Then Wednesday evening is Cub Scouts for the boys and thankfully they both have it at the church at the same time.

Thursday I take the kids to school because of band and then Ham has speech therapy, which is always a ton of fun with Lala here. Last week they had a knock-down-drag-out fight on the therapist's lap - oh yeah it was that good. Then after school go pick up Big J from band and then that evening Big Daddy takes the Boyz to karate.

Fridays are a lot Wednesday without running club and scouts. Ham has physical therapy while Lala is at school and again as soon as the therapist leaves we run to pick Lala up.

Then you throw in the occasional Dr or Dentist appt and programs at the school and grocery shopping and laundry it is just like everyone else's life.

On top of life my fibromyalgia has been bothering me. It seems to get bad when the weather changes. At times it is just annoying and at other times it literally feels like my skin in on fire, well not really on fire but being burned. It hurts to have anything touch me, and I mean anything -- like clothes, my hair, ANYTHING. And everything just hurts. So I feel like I have been a little lazy on my blog.

My Menu Mondays have really suffered. I haven't planned a menu for almost 2 months. Between me not being 100% and trying to figure out quick and easy meals for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays when there is such a quick turnaround from when Big Daddy gets home and someone is running somewhere I haven't planned anything. We have been doing more take-out than we should and some meals have been just grab a bunch of stuff and throw it in a pan and Voila! soup or whatever.

I have some craftiness just waiting to be done before Thanksgiving so I really need to get busy with it and maybe I will post about it. It seems like the last few things I have done I haven't even bothered taking pictures to post. I know - heresy.

So bear with me and keep checking back.

***This was suppose to post last night. So I go on and on about my life not being a good blogger and then do 2 posts in one day. Whatever.***
