You Do What You Can And Sometimes You Still Get To Have Fun

I didn't quite get to everything on my list from yesterday. No cakes were baked. I decided early in the afternoon that I wasn't going get to them. There is still hair that is too long. Kids did get to and from school. Ham had therapy and an awesome visit at the neurologist. Items were exchanged at Old Navy. Groceries are in the pantry.  Cleaning - well not so much.

But the best part of the day was having dessert with Bren and Linda last night. By now Bren and I are old friends. From the first time I met her I felt like we had been friends forever. And Linda is as sweet as she seems in her blog. But oh my she is very tiny.

We had so much fun talking and laughing. Time just flew. I couldn't believe what time it was when I dropped Bren off at her house.

And on a school night!

  1. Oh you are so grounded!!! I am not sure if it is because you stayed out so late or if you went without me!!!
    HOW FUN!!!

  2. You are SO Funny! I wondered what the heck you were doing in your car after I went in. Troy was asleep on the couch. Allie was crying for me within 1/2 hr.
But it was so fun! I really enjoyed hanging out & chatting.

  3. I had such a good time with you girls last night. You're right, the time just flew by. I hope it didn't put you to behind with your to-do list!

Happy birthday to your son today. I hope he has a special special day!

  4. At least you got the fun part in. I'm proud of you.
