Weekend Wrap-up and Then Some

This weekend felt a little crazy, so here is a quick wrap-up in pictures.

Friday night Big J had his Karate Award Night. He moved up a rank to Blue Belt with a white stripe.

Saturday was LaLa's birthday. We had a full house to help us celebrate.

I took the easy road and did cupcakes for her birthday this year.

Got to love the princess outfit - or not. ;)

We took our new tent on a test run in the back yard.

My Sister and Brother-in-law were here for a very short visit.

She is crying because it was way too quick of a visit.

We didn't have any tissue so she is using a poise pad to wipe her eyes. (Yes I know it is cruel to post a picture like that, but she is my sister and that is how we roll people.)

We had fun snapping pictures as we took them to meet the people they rode with from Idaho.

We drove by the man-made Tempe Town Lake.

We skipped church -- again!

Monday night was Einstein's Karate Awards Night.

There was a mix-up in his belt and first the awarded him a Green belt with a blue stripe. He was a little disappointed. Then they called him back up and he was awarded a Blue belt.

So now the boys go to class on the same night at the same time at the same school. That will be nice.
