Santa, St Nickolas and an Elf

Monday night was a fun night for us.

After missing Santa on Friday night we took the kidlets to the mall to meet that jolly old elf.

I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t a line.

Santa was great and took as much time with the kidlets as they wanted.

Since we were already at the mall we headed to Hallmark to grab the yearly new ornament for the kidlets.

Here’s what they picked out this year.

The shopping trip may or may not have been a little stressful this year and may have caused someone to fall asleep on the way home.

It just so happened that Monday night was also St Nicholas Day. So we placed our shoes out.

And sure enough the next morning there was a small gift for each of us.

And a silly little elf watching over the gifts.
