We Made It To The Weekend

This first week of school has been fun. We are getting used to all the changes this year. With 5 kids in 4 different schools and 5 different starting times I have been on my toes trying to keep the schedule straight.

Big J is in 7th grade at the Jr High. He is excited to finally be riding the bus. Can you imagine be exciting to ride a school bus?!?

Einstein is in 5th grade at the middle school.

One of my favorite things about where we live is being able to watch them walk to and from the middle school.

Roo is in 3rd grade at our elementary school.

And LaLa started kindergarten this year and is going to our elementary school.

After a couple of years of pre-school she had no problem starting kindergarten. I dropped her off and she just went into the playground.

It made me laugh as I was walking away, I looked back and noticed all the parents still standing there watching all the kids. I forgot I am supposed to be concerned if she was going to be okay.

I can’t describe how I felt when I watched my 2 girlies walking out from the school together. Look how cute they are!

Poor Ham had to wait until Thursday to start school, he still only goes 3 days a week and is at the preschool at a different elementary school in our district.

He was excited to finally go to school.

But he wasn’t quite ready for all the new changes. He has a new teacher, a new classroom and no LaLa going to school with him.

Finally he is ready to go!

But I have to say I think we were all ready for the weekend to get here. So we can rest up and get ready for a new week.

  1. Looks like great fun. I can't believe how early the first day of school is there in the desert. So strange.

5 kids, 4 schools, eh? Good luck with that.

  4. I don't know how you do it with five. I was stressing out with two and getting Taylor to seminary in the morning.
